I'm so tired it feels like I can barely keep my eyes open.  I have to wonder if this isn't an effect of not wanting to face the world at all.  I found out today that Monday I'm going to have to have a small surgery.  I could have, and probably should have, put it further back, but my first instinct was that I've got to get this over with very quickly so it won't be able to drag my mood down for long.  Fretting about things always makes me like this.

I really liked Wintersmith, though. :)  It may not be the best Pratchett book, but being Pratchett automatically put it a lot higher on my list than the Jules Verne book I'm half done with.  Bleargh.  Trudge, trudge, trudge.

You poor thing. I think that's what I'd do too (getting it over with as quickly as possible).

Your new icon is lovely!

Thanks. :) It's not actually new, but I change icons so seldom that it's not surprising you haven't seen it. It's just one that I only use when I'm in this sort of mood. Sort of not quite miserable enough to use this one. [livejournal.com profile] cheezedanish made the screencaps.

Oh, I'm sure all will be well. I'm just a worry wart. I've always had such a healthy life that now the idea of having even a tiny little bit of me cut out comes as quite a shock. :)
