derien: Bertie needs tea, badly. (bertie tea 2)
([personal profile] derien Jan. 10th, 2007 09:06 am)
Today is the first week the city is picking up our garbage at this apartment - previously our management company had a private arrangement - so of course, not being used to the weekly routine for the past few years I completely forgot it was Wednesday and I didn't put it out last night, nor was I dressed and ready to take it out before 6:30AM.  I felt so suburban and Arthur Dentish running out to the curb in my pyjamas and robe.  Of course it was still pitch black out, and nobody around, so it didn't really matter.

Brightening my whole day, a review of "Eragon" by [livejournal.com profile] peak_in_darien!  (I'm going to send this to friends, too. ;))

I got through the workday, yesterday.  A little uncomfortable, but not too bad.  Work wanted a special assessment form, which apparently I was supposed to have lined up before the surgery.  A Dr's note isn't good enough by itself anymore.  But they faxed it to the Dr.'s office.  And a few hours later the Dr.'s office called me back, at work, and asked for another copy.  They didn't say exactly what happened, but [livejournal.com profile] eor guessed possibly the nurse who filled it out put that I should not be at work for a week.  And of course I was already there, so that didn't quite work.  Eor and I both had clearly heard the Dr say there should be no problem with my going to work the next day.

I spent ridiculous amounts of time today reading about The Matrix story arc and characters on Wiki.  What a huge waste.  I can't say why I did it, I really just don't know.

Since yesterday morning the left side of my jaw has been aching like it did right after getting the wisdom teeth out.  It had let up for a while.  I think I ground my teeth in my sleep.

Must have tea and move, now.

I remember after I got my wisdom teeth out I had issues with grinding my teeth in my sleep. *Pats* Hope all your health ickyness clears up.

I think it has something to do with the teeth feeling different and one's mouth is just so confused that it thinks it has to move something out, perhaps.

I can't believe all this is happening right now - I've always been so healthy. (Also, I realize I've been cryptic in my posts, but I don't know what's going on, exactly, and until I do I don't want to talk too much about it, but I couldn't help posting something because of my anxiety about this situation. I mean, never having had any health problems before, I'm a complete wuss.)

Aw, cryptic is ok. I figured you were just waiting to sort things out. I really hope you feel better soon.

Lol, thanks!

I hope you feel better with the jaw. :(
