Is The Dresden Files going to kick ass or suck ass?
My worries:
A) Apparently, a British actor playing an American, a la "House."
B) A wizard private detective, a la the ... damn, can't think of the name of the books, but there was a series my Mom used to read. He was like Sherlock Holmes in an alternate universe with magic.
C) A wizard named Harry. Er, what? Harry Potter grew up, put on an American accent, changed his last name to Dresden, moved to Chicago and became a private detective?
D) Apparently lots of women who are madly in love with the main character.
E) An American actor (Terrence Mann) doing a British accent.
My interests:
A) A wizard private detective. Oh come on, I can't help it.
B) The "roommate," Bob - listed as Terrence Mann on IMDB (the SciFi channel site gives me a big old error message when I try to get to his info on the cast list) seems to be doing a Tim Curry impression. Is there slash potential, here?
Obviously I think the potential suck far out weighs the potential kicks, so I guess it's all for the best that I don't have cable. That way I can't be disappointed. ;)

HAHAHA OMG I'M SO EXCITED. Maybe he'll SING.
And yes, there is most likely to be slash potential; this is a man who was in the original Broadway recording of CATS as Rum Tum Tugger. Hahahahaha.
Otherwise the show sounds kinda ridiculous.
