Going to work, regardless of the cold.
We had a pretty productive weekend - well, at least reasonably so, given the ridiculous heat and humidity. I helped Eor put in posts and wires to lift the blackberries up off the ground and that area feels almost like a bower, now. I turned over the dirt in the area where the small pile of bamboo used to be and Eor planted beans there. We finally got one side of one of the doors stripped. (We have three doors which we hope to get repainted and installed before it gets cold again, so as to be able to isolate the heating areas when we want to.)
Hawk and I also had another talk about Dad's health, and I think we're agreed that we should probably talk to him about getting into assisted living, and possibly talk with Aunt B.J. regarding how to get funds for that.
I really think we need to get Eightball here for the family reunion. I think Hawk needs the emotional connection and I think it would do Eightball good. And I think he'll regret it if he doesn't come.
