Some days I feel almost like a functioning adult.  I haven't been late to work in ages, nor have I even had any days when I rushed around like a mad woman taking the fastest shower in the West and forgetting to eat breakfast.  I was showered, put away my shoes and swept the shoe area, had dishes done and did something toward trying to combat the mildew which continually threatens the shower curtains (I think this set is done, though) by 10AM, and breakfast was ready.  So then I sat down and ate and began reading "The Big Over Easy" (Jasper Fford).  And now... whoops.  Lunch isn't packed, my teeth aren't brushed.  I guess I just wanted to make sure I felt like myself, this adult thing was getting a little weird.
