First day of class was confusing and disappointing to me. I thought we'd go over the actual stuff we're teaching, or something about how to teach, but all he did was a brief overview of the textbooks we'll be using - jumping all around so I was totally bewildered - and then left early saying we could read it ourselves. Am still glad to be doing something that's not Checkpoint, but more scared than ever about this. Tomorrow I have the day off, in exchange for working Friday. Tuesday I begin watching him teach a class, and after watching one group go through he makes me teach one and watches me, and then I'm on my own.
