Memo to myself - do the dumb things I've gotta do.
I need to phone Vanity Fair and see if they really mean it with their offer to exchange a bra which doesn't fit. I bought five bras weekend-before-last(1) but two of them really don't fit right. I'd cleaned out all of the ones in my size in one style, so I grabbed a couple of a similar style, but they don't fit at all the same. When you're spending that much for something(2) you want it to fit right.
I also really have to balance my checkbook - I've let it go even longer than I usually do. I don't think there's any worry. But.
And I need to see if the woman who handles leases for our management company is in, yet, so we can find out what's going on with the lease for our apartment. They said they had made some changes and they wanted to talk with us about them before we signed, and the secretary gave me a copy of something she thought was the new lease, but it says our rent is supposed to be like $125 less than what we were told last month it would be. It's all getting a little confusing.
And I also still haven't figured out what the heck I did with OpenOffice and WordPad that so messed up those copies of my story. Because making the fixes is something that still needs to be done.
Hm. Weird. My computer's time is an hour slow. I wonder how that happened? *fixes*
StratfordOnGuy told me today that he's planning to move back to Tampa. I'll miss the heck out of him. :(
I wonder if that's everything I had to say. Pretty dull. I had a pleasantly unstressful day downstairs. It's so good coming home not feeling a need to rant about passengers. Although we did have a woman come in desiring to check a huge fern which her father had uprooted and put in a plastic bag. Can you imagine what would happen to that in the baggage compartment of a plane? She eventually flattened it between two peices of cardboard, with a ton of tape to hold the plastic bag to the bottom, so we shrugged and screened it. I can't think it will survive.
It's time for bed.

(1)Which brings me up to a total of like 8 - makes me feel like a rich person! I can change my bra every day! I don't think I've ever before in my life felt as though I could afford to buy five bras all at once. I may have done so, but I probably agonized about it.
(2)$29 apiece, at least at first - when you figure in the one they gave me free and the fact they're supposed to send me another "free" with the rebate [although "free" in this case means $3 for shipping] they get a little less expensive. Uh. *finds a calculator* $19 and some change. I'm not even going to try to figure tax.
