Well, tomorrow is actually my birthday, but I celebrated today with my Aunt S. by bouncing around Brunswick all day indulging myself in what's probably actually fairly mild consumerism. The smallest possible gelato, a $5 book ("Best Gay Love Stories, 2006"!), a couple of long, leisurely cups of coffee at two different places, a walk across the footbridge that spans the Androscoggin river from the Bruswick to the Topsham sides - beautiful day! Too hot, but actually I suppose I wouldn't have made such a leisurely time of it if it hadn't been so hot that we needed to jump from one air-conditioned place to the next. :)

Thank you! :D And I LOVE the book title! It actually caused me to come out to my Aunt as being addicted to gay love stories, and she picked it up and read the first story, and seemed to like it a lot. (My brother asked me how many gay love stories are written each year, and I said I couldn't imagine there were many... that aren't fan fiction.)

XD Your aunt is cool.

There seems to be a market for gay erotica books, I don't know if that qualifies as "love stories" though.

Actually, these seem mostly to be mild erotica. I'm a little, um, weirded out that my Aunt liked them as much as she did!
