I got tagged by
innocentsmith for this, so I absolutely must do it, ignoring all the other errands and duties I have on my list. ;)
List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
Hard choices. In no particular order...
1) Jet Boy Jet Girl - as done by The Damned
2) Nagasaki - as done by Hugh Laurie**
3) Don't Panic - by
lucylou
4) Dragonstea Din Tei - by O-Zone
5) Psychobilly Band - by The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns
6) Every Day - as done by Beat Soup
7) Feel Like I'm Gonna Cut My Head Off Blues - Adam Brodsky
Now, I really must accomplish something. We go on vaca - camping in Baxter State Park, yay!! - day after tomorrow. Yipe! So much to do and I'm goofing off. 8/

*Refers to the book "Seven Wives and Seven Prisons: Experiences in the life of a matrimonial monomaniac" and also to "Another Girl, Another Planet" as done by The Replacements.
**("As done by" indicates that I think it may originally have been done by someone else, and the previous version is probably the one more usually thought of. I'm not sure in the case of "Nagasaki" as it seems possible it may have been composed for 'Jeeves and Wooster.')

And nope, Nagasaki's a real period song. Wouldn't put it past the series people to invent the silly lyrics, but it would be a somewhat unfortunate city choice for goofiness.

Yeah, I believed it was a period song because I don't think anyone could write a song that sounded that innocently inappropriate. :)
Am now late for work! Damn you! (Heh, no, I know this was all about my bad choices...I was reading The Afternoon Tea Book.)
