Gosh, it's so hot I'm turning off my computer. I think I'll also pack up the rice and turn off the rice cooker. You know it's hot when I take these measures. 83F - I can barely stand it.
Would it be possible for you to get an electric fan? Fans are nice. I use this icon because it is sort of shaped like a fan and may therefore have a cooling effect.
But it's a ferris wheel! You used to have icons that were fans.
In fact I have a fan, and I think I did have it on at the time I turned off the computer. But I was also trying to Get Things Done, so turning off the computer had a good effect on that effort. I got quite a bit done once I got moving - washed the car, filled it with gas and got it's oil changed, dropped off an old dashboard at an e-bay shop to be sold, did laundry and shopping and even had time to sit down and read a book over lunch, all in ...*thinks* 6 hours.
Yeah, but then I changed to a Honey & Clover icon theme, and anyway my paid account shorted out and left me with only six icons. It's quite a nice ferris wheel all the same!
Hooray for productivity! At least there are good things about it being so demmed hot. :)
Heh. :) I'm a northern girl, not used to heat. I posted the 85F so you'd know exactly what a wimp I am. I think a good part of the problem is that it's muggy - it's been feeling as though it's going to thunderstorm any minute now for the last two days.
