I just went through a stack of old notebooks from work looking for the one with a particular co-worker's email address in it, during the process of which I ran across an AU Red Dwarf with Deb Lister story I'd been writing such a long while back that I'd forgotten the point of it. I don't know how all the parts fit together, and I think I'd decided to cut this scene or change it, but I actually got very distracted reading this scene, it was kind of fun. :) It was so long ago that it seemed like someone else wrote it.

Oh, maybe he sent me email at some time - I should go look in my old emails.
