I was planning to wash the car today, and also vaccuum and do touch up paint (the door got dinged last week) AND do laundry AND go buy a new pair of pants and some undershirts for work. And finish reading that fic I started reading yesterday. Instead, so far I have slept in and read a Vorkosigan fic (Seeds by [livejournal.com profile] lightgetsin) which was really good, but is third in series with "A Deeper Season" and "What Passing Bells" and there's a lot of history there from the books.

It was a little hot, but now it's shaping up for thunderstorms, which makes me think touch up painting the door of the car might not happen. But if I hurry I might be able to vaccuum it and get some touch up paint. (It was overcast this morning, which made sleeping in quite attractive, and then I'd worked late last night - 'til 11PM - and when I got home had an allergy pill, which made sleeping in almost unavoidable.) So, okay, going out. Laundry maybe ought to be put off until tomorrow, anyhow.

Where should I shop for pants? Goodwill or Old Navy?

Goodwill all the way. I have had terrible luck with Old Navy lately.

Yup, would have been a better choice today. I might not have found anything, but at least the things I picked through would have been like $10 rather than $30. Somehow I think that would have felt more worth it.

I like Old Navy. Their pants tend to fit pretty decently, and you never know what happened to/in Goodwill clothes.

Yeah, I've had good luck with Old Navy before, but today it turned out to be a bad choice. There was a clearance sale going on, so everything in my size was gone, because I guess I'm just an average size. I spent two hours or more, it was very frustrating and I ended up with nothing.

For you, always - But you should let me know enough in advance so I can leave a key for you if we're not here. If things are very last minute we might be away the day you arrive. (And my mother absconded with the spare key I had made last time, I believe, or I'd just mail that to you so you'd have it.)
