Much deep cleaning was done in our apartment yesterday afternoon and this morning - which means that the stove top still looks icky but you can practically eat off the floor in the remote corners of the bathroom. I even hauled the old vacuum from it's lair behind the iguana curtain* and cleaned in there. As you may be aware, a vacuum nest is always filthy.
We've made our second attempt at eggplant parm, and this time it was edible, so we know we can make a fairly okay dish if Looks To Alaska comes around for dinner, but I think we're both convinced that we don't really like eggplant.
