So freakin distractable. It took me ages to find the Universal Towels website again, and when I did I realized I'd lost the page I wanted to post it on. Ah, here we go - there was a comment on this blog discussion about James Potter and the Hall of Elder's Crossing. It's probably some kind of marketing scam, but the commenter said that it was a marketing site because there was a point somewhere on it saying "Mention this ad and get 20% off Weasley's Wizard Wheazes." The first thing that crossed my mind was, "And she probably thinks she can buy Peril Sensitive Sunglasses, too, because there's a website with an ad for them."

Wait, do we still not know what that thing is? Someone on my flist said that it is something to do with the fanfiction of some (male!) BNF... Although If that's what it is one would expect the publishers/Warner Bros to have complained and gotten it taken down by now.

I spent some time bouncing around to different places today looking for info on what it actually is, but all I've gathered is that Rowling and the publishers only seem to be making noise about taking it down, not doing so. They'll get a cut on the profits after the thing comes out and all the noise will have given it plenty of publicity, is my bet.

Then again I'm a cynical bitch.
