I don't expect I'm ever going to run afoul of it, anyway, since I don't plan to get graphic at any point. :) But I can't help harboring a suspicion that I'm going to disappoint the readers. That came up in a discussion with the coworker who reads it - he said I might want to write two versions and see what I think of them. However, it's more complicated than two versions, I think. It's more like... should they ever even realize how they feel? Erm... yes, I think they need to. Should they admit it to each other? Well... yes, probably. But realistically, if they get that far and I don't want it to go further during this story then a good deal of the tension of the end of the story is going to be around avoiding a healthy boy's instincts. And it would be down to Tom's restraint, because Phipps doesn't have a conscience!

I'm just sick of lj messing us all around.

I hope I get time to read it over the weekend. I think I've read two chapeters, but I'm going to start from the start again to refresh my (shoddy) memory

I'm kind of glad to see that they're coming up with an attempt to do something proactive rather than wandering into another debacle like the great strike out/bold out thing. Initially I wasn't all that happy with them setting us all to a default of medium filtering, but after thinking about it I realized that I would probably have done the same thing if I were on their side of the fence. It's the legally safe place for them to start us all out at - YOU have to choose the fact that you're able to view things that are possibly pornographic.
