During the course of the day, yesterday, I became convinced that the actor who plays Glitch in Tin Man is really pretty good. The script is no great material to work with, but he throws himself into it with gusto, delivers his lines with conviction, and has an expressive face. I finally began to wonder who he was and looked him up on IMDB. Ah, of course - the guy who played Nightcrawler in the X-Men movie (X-2), Alan Cumming. This whole series might be worth watching just for him.

Glitch/Caine slash, anyone? Please tell me there is some?

Aw, go ahead and watch the whole thing. Well, if you happen to get bored, anyway. I'm going to go back and try to find some of his interactions with Caine to watch over again. Did you see the bit right after he thaws Caine out from having been under the ice? Caine says, "I guess I owe you one," very butch, and Glitch says something along the lines of, "That hypermasculinity problem is something you can get therapy for."

And in the very last Chapter Caine wakes Glitch from being knocked out with, "Good morning, sweetheart."

I don't know if I could make it through the rest of the chapters due to Zooey's wooden acting, and the monkeys flying out of boobs was a little much for me, but I'm glad it improves! I only saw up until the very end of the first part.

The monkeys flying out of boobs!! Hee!! It's so funny how every time she lets the monkeys go she's wearing an outfit she can rip open, and she does, even though they're not covered up at any time! God that was pathetic. Way to play for the sex sells angle, with absolutely no finess or subtlety.

And yes, Zooey was painful to watch, which is really disheartening as she's so cute.
