The poison ivy blisters are even worse today. :P Doped up with diphenhydramine. Well, it's been several hours since I took the last dose and I think I'm fine to drive. Now I'm going to Brunswick to get Eor a new pig for under the sink. Garbage disposal. And grocery shopping will happen.

Still have no thoughts on how to deal with not having a bodice for next weekend at the Faire. NEXT WEEKEND. O.O Why do I even dress up, anyway? It is fun, but maybe I should just not this year. It's a lot of work, and people always ask me where the bathrooms are because they think I work there.

What? No bodice? What happened to your bodice? Did you get trapped in the plot (or lack thereof) of a gothic romance novel?

Hee! :D No, I'm just in the same boat I was last year - I haven't had it taken in and I was trying to decide whether to stuff or what. In fact I think I'm just going to go with it - it doesn't actually behave as a bodice, too loose to give any support - but most people probably wouldn't notice. :)

I'm sorry, I forgot you had a crisis of looseness last year (that doesn't sound right!) I could offer to bring one for you to try as an alternative; I bought a new four panel one this summer (very adjustable) - it's plum on one side and black on the other. Would that be any help?

Oh, I'd love to try it, if it's convenient! :) But if you were going to wear it perhaps we should stick with that, because really, like I said, I tried this one on and kind of thought that nobody else would notice a whole lot, so long as I just overlap the front and stand really straight (then most of my looseness seems to be in the back). Crisis of looseness? Hm...

I totally haven't decided what to wear yet, so I'll bring the plum one and another one, and if you decide you want to wear it, it will be no problem at all.

BTW, what's the weather supposed to be like? Rain in the forecast? ;)
