Class went well today despite missing materials. (Phoebe, if you read this, what the heck would have happened to our flowcharts??) Did I mention that the class we did last week was bedeviled by missing materials, and study materials not matching up to testing materials? In fact right now, although I'm having fun teaching and surmounting these ridiculous obstacles (sweet-talked the Admin Assistant into color-copying our flowcharts for us) I'm also rather glad that I did not even get an interview for the position Phoebe left. :D And even though I like teaching, I might give it up after we get done with this round of classes, because this is really silly. (Why the fuck would somebody take our flowcharts?? That we NEED in order to teach this class?) Gall.
Our condo meeting went well this evening, too, I thought. Eor finds having to chair meetings stressful, he's really a very small groups or one-on-one type of person; having nine people shoved into our living room was hard on him, but he did a great job. Tricky issues got addressed and hopefully we'll see some action on them, the atmosphere stayed light, everyone seemed willing to work together, things got moved along in a timely fashion. And he got re-elected President for his troubles. ;) He's still de-stressing, right now, playing a submarine warfare game. :)
G, my co-teacher, told me there's a great farm stand in South Freeport, which I'll try to look for on my way home tomorrow.
Off to bed, now. I hope I can sleep after taking the Prednisone so late (6pm) - I forgot to take it to work with me.
