Hm, speaking of stories I should have made notes to myself to read... someone mentioned that on Yuletide this year there was a Swallows and Amazons story, with Nancy and John older, camping out and drinking ginger beer. And for some reason the Yuletide search engine says there are NO Swallows and Amazons stories. So they must be cataloged by some other reference. Anyone recall this, oh f-list of wonderous brain?

I'm sure the one they were talking about was "A Swallow and an Amazon Ashore" - it IS good! Though I was kind of surprised that they put absolutely no sexual tension into it. I thought at first they had to be married, because I wouldn't have expected opposite sex couples to be allowed to travel together and camp and all at that time period if they weren't.
