Yes, honestly, this was the dream I had last night...

This movie trailer came on, and I had seen it a hundred times so I wasn't amused at all, I was very bored of it. The snippet from the movie featured in this trailer had a dungeon in that state of demolition which has to happen in every action movie - the walls were caving in, it was flooding, the piranha-rats had got loose - and everyone was running. Peter Lorre was being carried out by someone in a white lab coat and his eyes popped out like a cartoon character on seeing the piranha-rats clean off an animal and it's skeleton dropping. Then I was a character in this scene, and Gomez Addams was tickling me.

"Stop it man!" I shouted, "Stop torturing me! Can't you see it will do no good, I can do nothing?!"

"Can't you see I'm doing this simply because I enjoy it, and to no purpose?" Gomez replied, "Writhe, Doctor, Writhe!!"

And that was where I woke up, to find my hands stretched above my head and my armpit muscles spasoming. I didn't think it was a bit funny at the time, but I had to write those lines down.

Weird stressful dreams all around. I dreamt I was being told I had cancer. (I suspect that dream was triggered by hearing about the death from brain cancer of a conductor whose free outdoor concerts cathijosephine and plumtreeblossom and I have been listening to for the past few years.) On the bright side, the doctor recommended that I eat lots of chocolate.

Regardless of whether it would help or not I'd certainly eat all the chocolate I wanted if I had cancer. :D

Ahh, thank you. Now I know what the guy really looks like, and that he IS in fact a guy and not a creepy character.
