[livejournal.com profile] eor sums up our weekend pretty succinctly. I would also like to add that, due to his kindness I got a new/old keyboard (a clicky-key thing that it's going to take me a few days to get used to, I'm sure - atm the spacebar is giving me a hard time - but hopefully will increase my typing speed when I do because the old one was getting a little wonky) and I got time to work on stories. I wrote 2,400 words on my Psuedo Victorian Boys Adventure back when we were on vacation, so I got that typed up (though after editing that's gone down to 2,100 something) and I did 640 on the Heinleinesque story. I can't see me finishing that before June at this rate, but... maybe. Who knows. If I can get inspired. I mean... editing takes time. And all of it takes time where my neck keeps twinging on me if I type for too long. :P

I salute you both for completing such a productive weekend. Now I am jealous. :-P (Really!)

You're right; once you get used to the new keyboard you'll fly with it. :-) And nice work on the word-count! Keep pegging at it.

Hee! :) And thanks! :)

This keyboard is amazingly heavy, though. It must be mostly metal - I can't pick it up with my fingertips like I did with the silly old membrane thing.
