daegaer sent me a good link for hairstyles. I'm thinking something like this (only, bangs a little short so as not to be in my eyes)...? Also, picture that my hair is naturally curly, though it can be straightish if I comb it down wet and put some gel in.

I got no breakfast. :P Must go see if I can get something on the way to work.

There are some great styles in there. Well, all except for this. Who decided that a proto-mullet is a good look for anyone?!?

I personally like this one for myself. I think I can stand to grow out my buzz cut, which is now about 2 inches long all around, until I can pull off this hairstyle.

I like it. It won't be huuuge at the top though will it? I have wavy hair so I know sometimes it can get out of hand, especially if you don't have the time and inclination for straighteners and blow drying.

not sure that you'll see this before you go tomorrow, but I like that one, and I think maybe with a very little product you could have curls instead of short-hair-pouf. when I got my hair cut the woman suggested anything called curl cream - not gel as such - sort of a combo of leave-in-conditioner and gel, I guess, and it does seem to work pretty well without making it crunchy.
my experience with my recent cut is that regardless of how many pictures you look at and take in, curly hair is going to do what it wants to do (unless you do the blow-dryer/round brush/curlers etc and I simply don't have the time!) I have days I really like my hair & days it doesn't like me...but what's new?
(in only slightly related news, the new bodice should be here this week - fingers crossed!)

Yeah, you're right, it IS going to do what it wants, and mostly I think I can accept that.
