From an imaginary person named Blagg Bent I received an email with the subject line, "wimbles unvulgarize." Eor asks if wimbles are what Wimbledon was named after. If so, what are they? I think they sound like small, furry things. But what could they have been doing which was vulgar?

Hee, yeah, me too. :) (I learned that as a kid and can still repeat it word for word.)

me too! (on both accounts) I recited it once in a public speaking class and my (almost entirely Hispanic) classmates all looked at me as though I had grown a second head (actually, that was fairly standard for high school).

perhaps the wimbles are actually making something else less vulgar?

Ah, yes, that would make sense! Wimbles are very classy, and devulgarize any setting by their mere presence.
