My god, why did I have to do skip=40 to catch up on my flist, today? Maybe it was just all the new stories being posted over at
bujold_fic, but somehow I don't think so.
Yesterday must have been a successful birthday celebration because I was sick this morning. ;) Actually, I only had one drink and remember everything, but I had to wonder if they mixed it a little strong - I seriously woke up feeling like I'd had three. Maybe it was the whoopie pie (which, for those of you not from Maine, is one of these...)

and the foofoo Starbuck's coffee I had at work, or the French bread that came with the steamed mussels, or the black beans in the rice under the grilled shrimp-wrapped-in-bacon (topped with skinny cut deep-fried zucchini - mmm!!), (eta - I'm sure it couldn't have been the sundae we had for desert) but whatever it was I woke up during the night with my stomach quivering, and it was still doing so when I woke up again in the morning. Time, constant trips to the bathroom, and lots of redbush tea are making me feel better. :)
(more ETA - Eor took me out for dinner, as you already might have guessed if you could puzzle through his entry from afterward. I would also like to point out that he posted a rather decent pic of me (though I do have my dork-face on) from our camping trip, in case you missed it. Also, that the fire leaping up "like John Barleycorn"* even after being pounded by rain for two and a half hours was entirely due to his mad skillz as a pyromaniac, an obsession that runs in his family. ;))
