37) "The Liar," Stephen Fry - Fun book, full of twists and turns. I had put this one off for ages because I wasn't sure I wanted to read a book where you don't know what to believe as 'the real story,' but then again... yeah, it works. Although there's quite a few points where I was going "What?? What!?" - rather in sympathy with Adrien's friend who calls him a bastard at one point after tugging hard on their heartstrings just for the fun of it. I think I may already have mentioned that it was fun seeing what things from his own life he included in the life of Adrien. What do you think - does Adrien define himself as gay or bi at the end?

ETA: Odd side note - As I was sitting at the lunch table at work yesterday, reading, a paper fell out from between the pages of the book, whatever someone had been using for a bookmark. Turned out to be an empty prescription form with the dr's stamp on it.

"Hey! We could fill this out for whatever we want!" I said, handing it to the girl across the table.

"What do we want? Oxycontin?"

"No, I already have a prescription for that, for when I get out of surgery."

I should go get that filled, now, actually.

It is great to have someone to discuss books with - Eor often gets me to read something right after he does so we can discuss it. I wish I had been able to discuss it with you at that time! :)

Hum, I don't want to put spoilers in here, I think I'll send you email.
