I just finished watching "Girl From Rio" - mizzmarvel, thank you so much for giving me that, I loved it! :) I had no idea what to expect, and the flamy mobster boss surprised me. :) Through the entire thing there was this tension of "this can only end in tears," and then at the end what seemed like a throw-away scene early on in the movie comes back and bites. And there's a gorgeous female lead who seems not so bright but turns out to be bright enough, sweet, and kick ass, which is cool. :)

Would gladly watch again. :)

(PS - And it has Hugh Laurie being an awesomely dorky loser, which is awesome. :))
