My poor Eor came home with a fever. And it keeps rising. Last I checked it's about 103. He says he's resting comfortably, not hallucinating or anything, so doesn't need to go to the hospital. I found a hospital site which says 103 is still a moderate fever, 104 is where I should worry, so...

there seems to be a quick-moving crud going around this week - last Sunday Ben went to bed early with a fever and all-over body aches and laid really low all day Monday, but Tuesday was much better - and two of my co-workers were out Wed. and today respectively as well.

so I hope the same is true for you guys - drink tea! and juice! and if all else fails, cool baths can be helpful too. ((((hugs))))

I hope it's quick moving, but even if it is as quick as Ben's it sounds like he did the right thing calling off his plans with Doc, his coworker, tomorrow - we were going to go hang with him for a short while at the Little Dog in Brunswick, probably return a book Eor borrowed from him, the usual. ;) But now... ah well. We don't see Doc socially very often; in fact the only times have been to help him close his/his sisters' camp last year and open it in the spring. It just figures, the one time we make plans that are just for hanging out, we then have to call.

I'm feeding him tea and juice, but so far the only bath he wanted was a hot one. His fever wasn't too high at that point, and it seemed to help him ache less. I sat and watched him every moment to make sure he would be okay. :)

Thanks! :) He broke a sweat a little while ago, I'm thinking he'll be recovering tomorrow. Littleredhead says there's a fast moving bug around right now.

He's doing his best to recuperate; playing Diablo and living on cough drops (with Vit C in them). ;)
