I phoned my Dad yesterday to say happy birthday ask if I could visit and take him out for brunch or something today, but he's busy today. He's never busy, but there was something he really wanted to get done on the house today. We set a firm maybe for next weekend. Which is okay with me because I'm still not done with this cold (I'm resorting to the neti pot, today - and it's not working) and I actually had a few more tweaks I wanted to make on the photos I'm loading on the digital frame (some of them still looked too dark).

Then I thought I might go for tea with Phoebe this afternoon, but that turned out not to work when I thought about it because I have to cook a roast tonight to have for lunches and Eor needs a haircut. But we'll have breakfast tomorrow, which will probably be better.

Tomorrow. Monday. My first day back at work in a month. Damn, I'm going to have to start getting my act together and moving quicker in the mornings. I'm going to have to cut back on my slash reading. That hurts.

I hope your first day back to work was "okay", in spite of it not just being any Monday, but your first "Monday" in a month! Hopefully the moving stuff around (whether wands or bags or even just your own person) didn't cause you too much discomfort and that you're not feeling the worse for it tomorrow.

btw, don't forget to vote tomorrow, if you haven't done so already!!!

HUGS!

Thanks - it was not bad at all, because I was recertifying and it was a slow day. I couldn't even find enough people to do four pat-downs, so I still have one left to do tomorrow. No bag moving of any kind allowed at the moment - the dr. restricted me to five pounds, so I can't even recertify in searching carry on bags until that is raised, although I'm not sure how far they'll have to raise it.

I'm really not in hardly any pain at this point, I'm good! :) Though it's important for me to stick to my restrictions, I can tell.

I'll be voting tomorrow, don't worry - Eor's made me promise to get my butt out the door first thing. :)
