We have snow potentially mixed with sleet and freezing rain here, today - in fact, when I animate the local radar it flips from one to the other to the 'mixed' indication so quickly that obviously it's going to be of little help at all. Eor just called back to say that it wasn't too bad for him getting to work. Also that the car parked behind him on the street this morning had it's side mirror cleaned off. The street is just so very narrow with the snow banks.
Apropo of nothing but looking at Weather Underground far too much, I'm thinking of replacing my old weather sticker on my site with this:
That is, you know, IF I ever get around to updating. I need to get the garbage out, now. I missed garbage day the week before we left for Florida (because I was busy going insane that day), so I have to go check if the bag I hid under the back porch is still there (and hopefully not torn open and spread around by animals). Amazingly enough, we had a full bag after being away for a week (how does that happen?) and I should try to break up those evergreen boughs which I brought home for a Christmassy smell and jam them into the current garbage bag, so that means three bags to take down as well as a rather overfull recycling bin - something tells me this is going to take a few minutes. Oh, tea, why did I not have thee already to give me strength and power?
