We drove around a lot, today - for like 5 hours (we could have driven to New York for god sake!) - looking at houses, and we spent the rest of the day discussing exactly what we really want in houses. Aaaand... damn it, I want to talk about it but I also don't want to jinx our decision process.

we were out mid-day and I wondered if you guys were house-hunting again today! I can't wait to hear about what you guys have been finding, but I know what you mean - sometimes it is best to cogitate without too much outside blathering - after all, you guys will be the ones there, where-ever it is. (and we'll come visit!)

I hope you will visit! The big drawback of the house we like the most is that it's far - 40 minutes west of Portland. We haven't seen the inside, yet. I'm not sure which I hope for more; that it's within the range of fixable, because we both like it so much; or that it's so trashed that we have to give up on it, because it would mean such a long commute, especially for Eor.
