For two days I've had to be in at work at 4am. Last night I got to sleep early enough, but now I've been up for a long time. SO GRATEFUL that the Skipper has volunteered to take the 4am tomorrow. I get to go in at 9am. However, you know how I was all psyched I was going to get the 9am to 5:30pm shift? Well, no. Looks now like he wants that and I'll get the 7am to 3:30 pm shift. Hawk pointed out that means Eor and I are now on the exact same shift, and that's nice and all, but having to be at work that early every day does not sound like fun to me. He's all "don't be surprised if you surprise yourself." I think I'm going to have to get myself more corn flakes. And learn to always pack my lunch the night before, without fail.

Speaking of which, I cooked a really freaking good pea soup this evening, and I hope like heck I can take it for lunch and not find myself too... well, ill, I guess I'll say. Legumes are not the greatest on my digestion, though split peas treat me better than lentils or baked beans. Eor's belly is aching! :) Also made a pretty decent corn bread.

I did not walk on the treadmill this evening. I think I'll do that now.

Seniority's a bitch! Good plan though. Miss u. I hated 7am as well don't let them know b/c they love it when people are unhappy so pretend it's what you always wanted and they will change it ;)
