So, every now and then I update my Semagic from the server, and today it let me know that [livejournal.com profile] ficfinishing deleted me. I'm... confused? It may be because I didn't do something I was supposed to, but I never saw a single post from that group. Maybe I forgot to put it on a filter.

Anyway. Making muffins. BTW, don't get distracted and leave the butter, milk and honey mixture on the stove. It might boil. Just letting you know. They taste fine, though. :)

Federal job applications SUCK. SUCK SUCK SUCK. They ask me all kinds of stuff I don't know, and in order to find out the answer I have to log into a site which I don't seem to have a login for as yet - my own fault, I just never bothered to get one, I guess. *stabs!* Grar. Must run an errand.

This post and this have information about getting rid of people. I think if you weren't seeing posts it is a problem LJ has, because I have had the same experience - joining a comm and then never seeing a single post. I sometimes found that telling LJ to both watch and join would solve the issue.

Hm. So I was supposed to sign up for something I never saw the opportunity to sign up for. But I guess from that I can join again, later. Possibly I don't have time for it right now, anyway, what with vaca, then house closing stuff and moving, etc.

It explains some of it on the profile page? Basically, you join for each round you want to participate in; they put up the new signups at the first of each month. And yeah, you need to make sure you're watching, and/or check in regularly, because there are daily updates under flock.

If you're busy this month, that's not a problem. Was the fic you wanted to finish in one of the covered fandoms, anyway? Make sure you read the profile page in full before you sign up, 'cause it's not all completely intuitive in the way it's set up; it may not be for you.
