So here's a question for you:

I bought a few tartan handkerchiefs as souvenirs, intending to give them to immediate family, but I have found that they bleed dye like mad. Would it be nicer to give them in their original neatly rolled state, or wash them before sending them out to spare the receiver the possibility of dying their clothes pink?

*nods* I think it might be kinder, especially where I have a plastic basin which doesn't take stains easily, and other people might not have that.

It will be tomorrow, however, since the bathroom is filled with my own handkerchiefs today. :) I bought a package for myself and a package to give away, but there's seven in each package and I don't know if I need seven.
