I can NOT believe the documentation the bank is requiring for us for this mortgage. I'm going to be running around all morning tomorrow rounding things up, and this is not the first morning like that and I KNOW it won't be the last. It doesn't help that every list they send us of documentation they need includes at least three things we gave them in a previous go-round. *eyeroll* Am going to bed, now. I feel like I deserve a drink, but I'm taking Ibuprofen for my shoulder. (I did my exercises yesterday and then was in baggage as well.)

Ah, the red tape of bureaucracy. What a pain in the proverbial. :hands you a mental glass of wine:

It doesn't help that every list they send us of documentation they need includes at least three things we gave them in a previous go-round.

You'd think they'd just photocopy what you sent them originally, but I suppose that would be far too sensible and logical...

Ha. My parents still have to repeatedly provide evidence to the govt., on a regular basis, that my brother remains eligible for various disability benefits because his Down's Syndrome and incurable, genetic eye condition (he's partially sighted and registered blind) haven't actually gone away yet. We'd be very tempted to enter a sarcastic "All fine now! Took him to Lourdes. Kthanxbai" on the form, if it wasn't for the fact that they might take us seriously. ;) )

*snort* Yuh! I wonder how many fewer trees could be killed by not requiring follow-up paperwork to genetic conditions, until, say, some cure has been found.
