silk pyjamas, emails, cards, and yatta-yatta.

Some guy came through the checkpoint wearing, literally, gray silk pajamas, so I consequently had to sing a sample of Thomas Dolby's "Silk Pyjamas" for my coworker (NeverBecky). I mangled it badly, trying to sing it too fast and quiet so the public wouldn't hear me too much, but now it's running through my head non-stop. I would provide you all a link, but it doesn't seem to be up on YouTube. Are there any reputable sites for just music? Is there any way to tell if a site is going to give you virii besides your friends testing it out for you?

Anyway, I'm being a good little homemaker, today, have done dishes and there's laundry in the washer. Now I should go out for stamps to send out holiday cards. Some of you are on my list already, of course, but if you've recently moved - well, like EVER, because I have a bad tendency to accidentally throw out the newer address rather than the one I should have - drop me a quick email. :) I'm sorry I'm not doing the screened comment post for people who want cards, but two problems: 1) I don't seem to be able to see how to do it at the moment (am posting through Dreamwidth) and 2) I've failed so miserably at getting out lots of cards in past years that I don't think I should promise them to everyone who wants one. I can guarantee nothing. Sorry.

Actually, I'd love it if people who want me to have their emails would drop me an email any time, as I lost my address book in the last computer crash. Eor has tried valiantly to restore it for me to no avail as yet. (And Eor, don't take that as a plea for you to start working on it again - I'm sure everyone who cares about me will write me sometime.)

I think the laundry has stopped. Must not forget I have another optometrist appointment this afternoon - I'm giving the place who's messed it up twice yet another chance. Yeah, I don't think I really should, either, but I don't want to spend any more money.
