I just went to fill my travelling honey bottle and there was black powder all over the inside of the top.

Make sure things are completely dry before putting them away.

I do these things so you don't have to. And I blog them so I won't have to make the same mistake twice.

Today I found my cafetiere.


It appears not to have been emptied and washed for some time. Eurgh.

ooooh, gosh... heh. :) These things do happen. I think my Mom did that to her coffee thermos, and then she gave it to me. The other day I offered said thermos to my coworker, Alice, but when I went and found it I realized I had stored Stinky Tea in it (Lapsang Souchong). If anyone besides me even has a strong enough stomach to use it after that I'd be surprised. :)
