Someone told me yesterday that my hair is still 'feminine' even though it's so short. I was not sure how to take that at first, but then I decided that feminine is not girly.

They're just rying to be nice. People say weird stuff to girls with short hair. Someone told me I had a nice shaped head when my hair was shaved, and someone else told me I looked foreign, and yes, that was meant to be a compliment!

I hope you're right, because I nearly said to him, "Dammit! What am I going to have to DO to not look feminine? Shave it all the fuck OFF?"

Re "foreign," though - maybe they were reaching for the word 'exotic.'
