why is November such a popular birthday month?

Happy Birthday wolfie_sara!! You've been a good friend to me in this past year and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I hope you have the best birthday ever, with lots of cake and ice-cream and other delightful things! (And did you fudge your birthday date on LJ? Something makes me think it's actually tomorrow, perhaps?)

And continuing in my tradition of memory loss, a belated
Happy Birthday to cyberquail! It's not that I wasn't thinking of you on the day - I did actually think of you quite a bit, I just couldn't hold a thought in my mind long enough to act on it decisively and get a post up. I hope you had a good one!

(Other people's I missed completely doing anything for were numerous, including my Dad's. He missed mine, too, and felt bad about it, so I guess I should just do something quite belated.)

In my case it's because you put it as the 21st on Facebook. It seemed more likely to me that you'd have fudged both profiles by one day in different directions than one by two days.

Will Sabre be having cake and ice-cream? :) (And is plonk a general term or something specific?)

Oh, what? Yeah, it DOES say the 19th on your Facebook. what the heck was I thinking? I've gotten so many birthday reminders in the past few days... I must have gotten yours mixed up with someone else's. Seriously, November is a VERY popular month to have a birthday in, it seems. At least seven people I work with had a joint birthday party the weekend before last.

It is, isn't it? Hm. :counts back 9 months from November: Ah, February. I suppose it's possible that an awful lot of us November-births were started up on Valentine's Day... ;)

November is a popular month for birthdays because people get jiggy on Valentine's Day. February + 9 = November birthdays.

Thanks for remembering, belated or otherwise. It wasn't the best birthday on the history books anyway; Nudnik and Dave were here at QM drinking beer and eating pizza, while I had to go to a Village Council meeting. By the time I got home around 9:00, Nudnik was ready for bed, so Dave and I stayed up and watched Vicar of Dibley episodes on Netflix and I ate leftover cold pizza (sigh).

Anyway, thanks for the wishes. The loudness of it more than makes up for any lateness :)
