I'm appreciating some of the little joys of being home - things where I expect them to be, sheets on my bed, honey in my tea. I could have bought honey for the cottage and asked for honey when I bought tea out, but I didn't want to be a bother. And okay, I apologize to those of you who are devotes of the duvet system, but I really don't like having no sheets on my bed. Maybe I have deep-seated psychological issues.

Now, the questions that one always has, on returning home. Do I mail out these postcards from here, or is it just wrong that they don't have an English post mark on them? I was good and wrote them while I was there, but never got a chance to get to a post office. It rained all day, Friday, and we went for a walk anyway, but it seemed by the time we got back to Bradford on Avon we just wanted to scamper back to the cottage and not go out again.
