I've been looking for a copy of a Mysterious Island fic I wrote a few years ago (and unfortunately I'm not even sure exactly when). I found the first version, before Eor did the beta, but the final version was an empty file - lost in one of the crashes. :( So I thought, well, I must have posted it on my LJ, I'll just look under the tag 'fanfic,' 'fanficion,' 'fic,' or in my memories. No such luck. Either I never posted it (which I'm not sure I can believe) or I never tagged or memoried it. It was a silly little thing, but I hate losing stuff. :P I never posted it on derien.rulesthe.net. Anyone have any thoughts on other ways I might find this? Eor has suggested I change my privacy settings so spiders can crawl on me, so I can just do a google on "mysterious island" "the worth of a man" and "derien," but it will take some time for the privacy change to take effect. Maybe I'll check that tomorrow.

I constantly need to search my lj and I'm rubbish at tagging, so I generally use ljArchive (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ljarchive/). Then you could search without having to change your settings, I think?
