For the record, I don't like the new cuts on LiveJournal. Now, instead of just hitting the 'back' button I have to scroll up for about nine billion years back through that incredibly long post. Kind of defeats the purpose of saving space with a cut.
Not much to report of this weekend. We had a showing on Friday morning, which meant we cleaned Wednesday and Thursday nights and I took myself out for breakfast on Friday to get out of the house. I went up to Brunswick hoping to shop for a present for my brother Eightball's birthday, which was the 9th, and didn't find a single place to park my car open in all of downtown Brunswick. Which was okay, I guess, because I never even came up with a clue on what to get for him. What do you get someone who doesn't have any actual home and has to eat out all the time? I was thinking maybe a sausage... argh! I don't know. He has the movie 'Serenity' on his like list on Facebook, but I have no idea of that means he already has the whole Firefly tv show or not.
Today was major shopping and cooking - new pillows for us, as well as all the food I had to buy. We cooked two curries; a new madras and one called a 'dry curry' which you bake in the oven. Delish!
