At Tronella's suggestion I reposted Chapter Fourteen with the newer material, which increased it from 1,480 words to 18,129 words. No beta, though. So, any feedback will be much appreciated, even if it's "you spelled its wrong yet again." I'm trying to do a read-through, now, as I cook dinner.
