I was good and walked over 2 miles this evening (it's lovely what getting into a good story can make you ignore) (yes, I read while I walk), and then immediately went for the careful stretching... and forgot to write down my stats off the treadmill. Bummer.
I really like today's description, though:
Today, Derien travelled 2 miles on the journey from Bag End to Rivendell.
Walked through a deeply cloven track between tall trees, a fine place for singing.
A total of 16.96 miles along the way.
I really had to walk, I was chilled. It's 68 degrees around here, or at least hypothetically. Seemed colder, especially when I was walking up to the corner store for pizzas. Eor says the temperatures tonight are going to be 'prepubescent.' Of course I was dripping with sweat right after getting off the treadmill (ew, there's a drop on my Asimov's!), but now I'm sitting here with bare feet, comfortable at the moment but starting to chill myself down again. Time for a hot bath! :)
