And just work with people I haven't had the opportunity to work with in a while. As we were working together, today, Saxman and I were talking about art - doing it for oneself, the endless striving to be as good as you would like to be, how criticism can be difficult, how to weigh it and use it and respond to it. (As a Buddhist he's of the opinion that whether it's criticism or praise, other people's opinions should be irrelevant, however he's quite aware that it's hard to throw oneself into something and get nothing but shat on for the results.)

Meanwhile, of course, we have to stop our conversation for each 'customer' we have to talk to, and somehow he said to a guy, "You're fine."

The guy said something like, "That's nice to hear, I don't hear it very often."

Saxman responded, "Well, don't cancel the therapy right away."
