I took the week off to spend time with family, so mostly not a lot of time or brain to post, so in lieu of that, have a
My brothers and I stopped at the A1 Diner (an iconic old diner in Gardiner) for breakfast on the way up (you can slightly see the A1 sign in the far background, but that yellow thing that looks like a traincar is the actual diner) - Eightball in the middle and Hawk taking the pic with his long arms:
And this is Dad telling a story. He loves telling stories. :)

So, now Eightball and I are off again, up to Dad's. Hawk has a huge major test today, covering the entire GI tract, oncology, hematology and a bunch more.

That phone pole - actually those measurements are flood marks! You're looking down from the bridge, and I need to notate it because it's impossible to read (my camera's not so good) but at 24.7ft it says (I believe) "1987 flood" and at 26.4 ft it says "1934 flood." The 28.7 mark says only "100 year flood."
