Today, Derien travelled 1.65 miles on the journey from Bag End to Rivendell.
Met Merry at the Ferry Landing and crossed the river.
Took the main road north from the Ferry, then the lane to the right up hill.
A total of 71.13 miles along the way.

I set the treadmill at a much lower angle, today, because I already had a headache, and lately I've noticed that breathing hard gives me a headache. I'm not sure when that started or what that's about. My initial thought was that it had to do with my blood pressure rising when I was walking hard, but the I realized that if I just breath hard through my nose a couple of times, not exercising, I start to get a headache. Seems to be my sinuses being oversensitive.
Anyhow, it's my friday and I'm very happy about this. Tomorrow is another car appointment, two hours this time, and I need to be there at 9am, so I need to get up and going in the morning, no dilly-dallying, no shilly-shallying, no lolligagging or wool-gathering. I'll have two hours to wool-gather once I get there, and I hope to do similarly to last week - drink lots of coffee and write. :) Only, starting on actual breakfast before I leave so I won't get all shaky like last time.
OTOH, I suppose it would be cool to hang out with people, too. Maybe. Hm. *weighs time to myself against time socializing.* I really don't know.
Mainertoo said something this morning about unemployment being about $360 weekly, and I went, "Hm, really?" He knew instantly what I was thinking, and voiced it - "If I can figure out how to live on that I can read more books..." We have worked together for ten years. :)
