We're going to take a second look at a house. We went to speak to someone at the bank this afternoon to try to lock in a low rate before we make an offer. The paperwork seems to have shifting numbers. So tired of this process. Want my brain and my Eor back. :(

If we get this place it won't be near as attractive a vacation destination as Freeport, but there will be more spare bedrooms, and 20 acres to tromp across at will. :)

Things are starting to look up. :) Our buying agent got us back in a better mood, we put in our offer last night, we got and accepted our counter offer, today, and this evening, when the approval letter came from the bank, it looked just like we had wanted it to look. So tomorrow I'll be delivering out earnest-money check. I won't way we're nearly there, because we have a month of inspections and such before we sign the final contract, and then we have TONS of work to do before we move in (might not even be able to move in before next spring) but I think we're past the worst stress hump. :)
