I have "The Jeeves Omnibus," and have had it for a while, and had thought that I had read the whole thing. Now I'm reading "Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves" and realizing I either hadn't read it before or possibly I hadn't read enough Jeeves stories to get all the angles of what was going on. Gussie being nearly strangled by Spode and saved by the girl who's in love with him (Gussie, that is, not Spode) whacking Spode over the head with a good, solid mixing bowl and putting him down for the count was kind of delightful. :) There are innumerable turns of phrase which I'm having to restrain myself from reading aloud to Eor, chortling by myself in the corner. I'd rate it as one of the fruitiest, although unfortunately not in a queer sense, but Jeeves and Bertie do seem quite matey. (Bertie proposes popping up to Aunt Dahlia's for lunch, "With you at my side, I hope?")

I suppose it's time for me to wander off and shove myself under the down comforter, now. Toodle-pip! :)
