A Writers Block from a few days ago, and I can't think how I never saw it.
Harry Potter
Remus/Sirius
Harry/Ron
Neville/Luna/Ginny
and/or
Draco/Hermione/Ginny
Snape/Hagrid (okay, I know everyone thinks I'm a real perv for this one, but for some reason I really like the JadedCynic/InnocentOptimist pairing. It's so damned sweet.)
(Seriously, Harry/Ginny always seemed like he would be closing his eyes and trying to pretend she's her brother who is his Most Important Thing. Just sad. I've been there; I had a crush on my ex-bf's sister.)
Sherlock Holmes
Holmes/Watson (everyone sees it besides the het-centric Holmes/Irene Adler shippers so it's not exactly unusual, and it might actually have been intended by Doyle, but it's still my favorite.)
Holmes/Watson/Lestrade (I don't know if it's just because I love threesomes, but I really like this combination.)
Jeeves and Wooster
Jeeves/Wooster, of course! Not groundbreaking, again, but just my OTP. (And again I have a sneaking suspicion that the author may actually have intended it.)
Rocky Todd/Bicky (at least I think that was his name - from the ep show where they're trying to keep their respective relatives apart, in New York. They're both writers; Rocky is a poet and Bicky I think writes novels.)
Star Trek
Spock/McCoy - I've recently been converted. Much better than Spock/Kirk, imho, because I'm not that fond of Kirk. Still, for the sake of a threesome I can read
Spock/McCoy/Kirk.
Chekov/Sulu - possibly predictable, but cute and fun.
Chekov/Sulu/Uhura works for me, too, in a fuckbuddies kind of way.
Chekov/Scotty - I have no idea why. Eor suggested it to me one day and my mind just latched onto it. It has to do with an Innocent/Cynic thing again, I think, though Scotty is not all that cynical.
Star Trek: TNG
Picard/Q
Data/Geordi
Star Trek: DS9
Bashir/Garak (was that not intended? I don't know.)
Quark/Odo
Jadzia Dax/O'Brien/Keiko O'Brien
House
House/Wilson/Cuddy (er, again, possibly intended.)
Lord of the Rings
Legolas/Gimli
Merry/Pippin
Sam/Frodo
Vorkosigan series
Ivan/Byerly
Miles/Gregor
I feel I'm a little lax in the area of coming up with unusual ships, but I guess that's not all that important to me.
(Btw, who the hell are President Roslin and Gaius Baltar?)
Well that's fun. It's snowing like a bastard, now, and I'm really glad I arranged a ride, because even if I'd had my car today I wouldn't want to drive in this. Got a phone call last night: "Hi, this is [female coworker who used to sell books]. [Buck] wants to know your address again."
It's so nice that we have coworkers who will make calls for us. :) Buck has no cell or email so I'd better be on the front porch before 11AM and ready to GO. He seems to like being difficult to get in contact with, and turned aside my berating of him about it with, "And yet, I'm fine." He's also serene most of the time, so there might be something to be said for it. (And no, I wasn't berating him in relation to coming to pick me up; he volunteered on that and I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I think it was around something we aren't supposed to talk about at work but I thought he should be interested in. Notice the word "should.")
I've picked away at this all morning between doing other things (although I haven't been very productive overall... >:P) and now it's time to get my butt out there on the snowy porch, so let me leave you with this thought... Is there any fandom that can't benefit from a Wodehousian spin? (YouTube vid of Kirk/Spock set to the theme music of Jeeves and Wooster.)
