I'm all excited!  [livejournal.com profile] adina_atl has put up another installment of Green Ice (her Jeeves and Wooster x Lord Peter Wimsey that I'm sure many of you remember from Yuletide Treasure)!  The second part is on her journal on Feb 22, and there's hope that she might finish the story completely by the end of this week!  So cool. :)

but before I read Green Ice, I have to read Verne )
I've seen worse ice storms, but then so has everyone in Maine. ;) )

I finished Around the World in Eighty Days.  There is no balloon scene.  The picture on the front cover of the paperback edition I have shows Fogg and Passpartout in a balloon, and Jaylow, when she saw me reading it, recalled, "I remember the balloon scene from the movie!"  It must have been invented for the movie with David Niven and the illustrator who did the book cover must have seen that.

Now I can get on to reading Mike and Psmith, and the other Psmith stories [livejournal.com profile] eor has set up for me on the ebook, Psmith in the City and Psmith, Journalist.  I'm going to go into Psmith overload. :)
